I bought a set of dumbbells from McCarty Fitness and cannot recommend them enough! First off, Sean was super helpful on the phone before I went in and in person when I went to pick them up. The weights themselves have a clean look, are well balanced, and have a nice grip. Finally, all the reviews for other brands of dumbbells online in this price range complained that new rubber coated weights have a terrible, chemical smell. Obviously new weights will smell like rubber for a bit, but these weights did not have that bad chemical odor and the slight rubbery smell dissipated very quickly. I would recommend them and once I am strong enough to need heavier weights I will be back in the future.
