I ordered the vortex 1000 from McCarty Fitness after months of research looking at the other major brands and I couldn’t be happier. This machine is quality. The cables slide like and function like a commercial gym. The smith machine functions perfectly. The weight stack is 220 lbs ON EACH SIDE and gives me more weight than I will need. I am able to set up three exercises at a time with no worries that I am hogging the equipment at a commercial gym. All of the attachments and accessories are included! You get an Olympic barbell, tons of attachments for the cables, a land mine attachment, AND an attachment to secure your legs during lay pulldowns, as well as the dip bars. I am 220 lbs and I can climb all over this thing and it is study as a rock. The weight storage is an added bonus. This is truly everything you need in a home gym.

We researched several companies and couldn't find anything on the market, at this price point, offering the same quality strength and variety of cross training functions exercises this machine does. We paired it with the McCarty bumper plate set, some additional Olympic weight plates, the SFID425B Body Solid adjustable bench, and several 4x6 rubber mats, then topped things off with several 4x6 wall mirrors to create a home gym my family and our friends love. The McCarty delivery and installation team was on time, considerate, and very professional. They even took time to talk us through recommended placement of everything to create a spacious home gym for an optimal workout experience. The mirrors look great too.
